This is a legal agreement between you, the end user, and FAUN IMAGES(r), the producer of the screensaver in this package. BY OPENING THIS SEALED PACKAGE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT OPEN THIS PACKAGE AND PROMPTLY RETURN THE UNOPENED PACKAGE TO Faun Images P.O. Box 549, Sumneytown, PA 18284, FOR A FULL REFUND.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE. Faun Images grants you the right to use one copy of the enclosed screensaver software program ("the SOFTWARE") on a single terminal connected to a single computer (i.e., with a single CPU). You may not network the SOFTWARE or otherwise use it on more than one computer or computer terminal at the same time.
2. COPYRIGHT. The SOFTWARE is owned by Faun Images and is protected by United States copyright laws and their international treaty provisions. The images used in the SOFTWARE are also copyrighted and are owned by the artist. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE and images like any other copyrighted material (e.g. a book or musical recording) except that you may either (a) make one copy of the SOFTWARE solely for backup or archival purposes, or (b) transfer the SOFTWARE to a single hard disk provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. You may not copy the images or use them in any other form, or for any other purpose other than as screensavers.
3. OTHER RESTRICTIONS: You may not rent or lease the SOFTWARE, or use it or any of the images contained within it for any commercial purposes whatsoever. You may transfer the SOFTWARE on a permanent basis, provided you retain no copies and the recipient agrees to the terms of this Agreement. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the SOFTWARE.
4. YOU MAY NOT USE, COPY, MODIFY OR TRANSFER THE SOFTWARE OR ANY COPY IN WHOLE OR IN PART, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS LICENSE. ALL RIGHTS NOT EXPRESSLY GRANTED ARE RESERVED BY FAUN IMAGES.
